Mr. William De Bruin, Sr. 92 of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in Carolina Inn Assisted Living.. Mr. De Bruin was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. De Bruin worked for the Atlantic Coastline Railroad for 28 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The burial will follow in the Lee-Johnson Family Cemetery in Dunn, N.C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Mr. De Bruin is survived by his sister Leona D. Tjoelker of Everson, WA, daughter-in-law Jane De Bruin and two grandchildren, Stephanie Eldreth and William De Bruin III. and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Emily Lee De Bruin and son William De Bruin, Jr. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cross Creek Presbyterian Church Building Fund 430 S.
