Mr. William Wallace "Wally" Dee, 68, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, August 02, 2008, at the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at 11 am in Calvary Assembly of God with Rev. Mark Knight and Dr. Gardner Altman officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. Wally was born March 15, 1940, in Queens, NY, to the late Dorothy and Albert Dee. Throughout his life, he was an avid fisherman, woodworker, and enjoyed discussing and debating all the things he loved with his friends and family. In 1998, he retired from American Bakeries after 21 years of service. Most importantly, he was a loving husband to his wife and devoted father to his sons. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margie, of California. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kaye Dee of the home; his two sons, Robert Dee and his wife, Staci, of Concord, NC and Clark Rose and his wife, Susan, of Myrtle Beach; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Allison. The family will receive friends Monday evening, August 4, 2008, from 7 to 9 pm at Jernigan Warren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center, 2431 Legion Road, Fayetteville NC 28306.
