Obituary

William T. Hall  known affectionately as "WT," passed away peacefully in Christ at his Fayetteville home on August 25, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born in Pensacola, Florida in 1942 to Cecil Verbon and Mary Lily Hall, upon graduating from High School in 1960, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964, primarily stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. Following his military service, he pursued higher education, earning a BSBA in Marketing and an MBA from East Carolina University in 1970.

He then embarked on a fulfilling 35-year career as an Accounting Instructor at FTCC in Fayetteville, culminating in his role as Accounting Department Chair before his retirement in 2005.

WT's passion extended beyond his professional life. He was an avid outdoorsman, particularly enjoying camping trips in the North Carolina mountains.

WT is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 35 years, Patricia; sons Travis Hall (Kim) and Chris Malvitz (Libby); daughters Paula Kenny (Rip), Patrice Allen (Troy), Deborah Karpinecz (Steve), Ginger Malvitz; grandchildren Billy Hall, Kris & Kreg Kenny, Matthew Karpinecz, and Thaison Tram, Jack & Clark Malvitz; and Christian Allen(LeAnn)children Luke & Logan, and his cherished granddaughter, Bianca Karpinecz.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Fayetteville SDA Church,   2601 Lone Pine Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
