William Robert "Bill" Harrison, U.S. Army Retired died, Thursday, August 3, 2017.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 10 a.m.in Sandhills Sate Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

William "Bill" Robert Harrison was born May 7, 1950, in Bainbridge, GA.

Bill served 21 years in the United States Army. He was a loving father, grandfather and an avid Georgia bulldog fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years Laverne Rathel Harrison.

He is survived by sons, Chuck Harrison and John Harrison; daughter, Carrie Harrison; grandchildren, Kaleb Harrison, William Martinez, Madison Harrison, Iverson Martinez, Riley Harrison, Landon Harrison, Hailey Harrison , Andrej and Crystal Harrison; brothers, Robert Harrison, Lester Harrison, Gerald Folsom, Mike Folsom; sisters: Sarah Griffin, Barbara Phillips, Patricia Toles, and Judy Cooper; and Dear Loved ones, Tommy Gordon and Tracey Jones.
