Mr. William C. Herrington, 70, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville. Mike McGirt will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Herrington was a member of Carroll Memorial Baptist Church. He was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Cumberland County to Frank and Thelma Holt Herrington. Mr. Herrington is survived by his wife, Star of the home; son, Steven C. of Fayetteville; sister, Betty Rock of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Tiffany star Herrington and Brandon M. Herrington; and their mother, Ann Johnson. the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
