William "Bill" Hesketh Butler of Fayetteville, North Carolina passed away on January 18th, 2024.

Bill was born to John Stewart Butler Jr. and Mary Hesketh Butler on April 16th, 1960.

Bill dedicated an impressive 31 years of his life to his work at the Public Works Commission. He is survived by his siblings: Anne Renegar; children Gray Renegar (Kelly) and Molly Jannelle (Andrew), Marsh Stevens (Dick); children Annsley March (Jordan) and Cameron Stevens, and Stewart Butler; child Mary Kelly Smith (Charles). He is also survived by his former spouse, Rhonda Butler, stepchildren Jenna Mikesell (Donald) and April Mariniello and his step-grandchildren Gabrielle and Isabell Mikesell.

The family will celebrate his life at a private graveside service at a later date.
