Senior Master Sergeant Retired U.S. Air Force William Nolen Lee, Sr., 80 of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 in his home. Mr. Lee was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was awarded the Bronze star, Korean Service Medal and United Nation medal. William was a disabled veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Cynthia Lee. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in Northwood Temple with Rev. John Hedgepeth, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, August, 29, 2013 from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. Burial will be on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 12 noon in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Lee is survived by his wife Delores Johnson Lee of the home; sons William Nolen Lee, Jr. and wife Ellen of Fayetteville; Bryan Lee and wife Nicole of Little River, S.C.; daughters Annette Fadok of Corona, California; Jackie Lee of Scottsdale, Arizona; Letitia Libby of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
