FAYETTEVILLE- Mr. William "Bill" Alexander McLean, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Bill McLean is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years Mary Jane McLean, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. William "Bill" Mclean is survived by his daughter, India Pleasants and husband Craig of Wake Forest; sons, Dale McLean and wife Kim of Fayetteville, Scott McLean and wife Shawn of Bunnlevel; sisters, Louise Overton of Spring Lake, Lola McLamb of Fayetteville, Betty Sanders of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Philip Mims and wife Cathy, Lindsay McLean, and Connor McLean. A funeral service for Mr. William "Bill" Alexander McLean will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in the Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Eddie Williams. The family will receive friends two hours before the funeral service, from 12pm to 2pm. Burial will be held at Cumberland Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
