Willie "Billy" Williams, 79, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

Billy was an employee of National Linen with 19 years of service and was also a car salesman. He inspired many people by service in Church and coaching baseball. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Billy was preceded in death by his daughter, Candace Jordan. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Sandra Copeland Williams; daughter, Sharon Adkins and husband Henry; son, Andrew Williams and wife Kathleen; brother, Robert Williams; grandchildren, Henry and Mary Adkins, Joshua and Joanna Williams, Jeremy and Jason Jordan and his wife Julia; great grandchildren, Michael, Alyson, Jonathan, James, Josiah, Alyssa, Chloe and William Jordan.
