FAYETTEVILLE — Willis Neal Little Sr. 81, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mr. Little was the owner-operator of W.N. Little and Son Construction and later became Cumberland County Solid Waste licensed landfill operator until retirement. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Mount Gilead Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Little was preceded in death by his wife, Ila Jean Little and daughter, Cynthia Jean Dinner. He is survived by his son, Willis Neal Little Jr. and wife Robin Little; daughter, Penny Helms and husband Michael Helms Sr.; son-in-law, Jay Dinner; sister, Christine Lowery; brother, Jeff Little; and five grandchildren, Michael Helms Jr. and wife Nicole Helms, Deanna Helms Glover and fiancé Eric Mowbray, Denton Little and wife Melissa Little, Matthew Dinner and wife Sue Ann Dinner, Joshua Dinner; seven great-grandchildren, Gabriel Glover, Samuel Glover, Hailey Dinner, Hayden Helms, Maxwell Little, Sierra Dinner and McKayla Dinner. Memorials may be made to Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 6248 Cliffdale Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28314. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 11:30am to 1pm at Mt Gilead Baptist Church with the funeral following at 1pm in the church sanctuary Burial will follow in the church cemetery
