SGM Retired US Army Wilson David "Dave" Goldie, 72 of Spring Lake passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017.

Dave served in the US Army Parachute Team Golden Knights and also the 82nd Airborne Division and the 18th Airborne Corps.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 11, 2017 at 10:00 am in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Goldie; son, David Goldie and wife Diana; daughter, Kimberly Goldie Staines and husband Paul; grandchildren, David, Zachary, Alexander; five great-grandchildren.
