FAYETTEVILLE - Wilton Charles Grimes, 89, of Fayetteville died Friday, January 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 14, at 1 p.m. at Gardners United Methodist Church. Burial will be Friday, at 2 p.m. at Crown Memorial Park in Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Surviving are his children, Larry Ray Grimes, Deborah Gail Grimes and Wilton Charles Grimes, Jr.; stepchildren, Alan Vance Greer, Billy Wayne Greer and Rebecca Lynn Schneider; brother, Brooks Ray Grimes, Sr.; 5 grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren; 1 great grandson and 13 step great grandchildren.
