FAYETTEVILLE -- Mrs. Winnie Decker Murphy, 73, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in her home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 5p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Bill Vines officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 5 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Mrs. Murphy is survived by her husband, Walter Murphy Jr. of the home; daughter, Shanda Decker Crowdis and husband, Steve, of Sanford; a son, Kenneth Decker of Fayetteville; a sister, Yvonne Hampton Leathers of Burlington, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
