FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Winnie Mae \\"Mickey\\" Welch, 78, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Darryl Britt officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Welch is survived by four daughters, Mary Williams and husband Ronald of Fayetteville, Patricia Hall and husband Gilbert of Fayetteville, Deborah Warner and husband John of South Carolina and Aileen Parrish and husband Ronnie of Creedmoor; a son, James Welch of Spring Lake; two sisters, Faye Bryant of Creedmoor and Shelby Sanford and husband Cecil of Henderson; and a brother, Danny Winters of Creedmoor. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jessica Williams, Kayla Williams, Shannon Bryant, Christy Jackson, Amber Davis, John Warner, Leila Warner, Gerald Warner, Michelle Phillips, Kenneth Phillips, Tracy Day and Rachael Welch; and 16 great-grandchildren; Hannah Plunkett, Christopher Bryant, Breanna Bryant, Jordon Jackson, Kyle Jackson, Eric Brimhall, Nicholas Warner, Charlie Davis, Olivia Warner, Vincent Warner, Alexandra Warner, Jonathan Warner, Madaline Warner, Phillip Day, Noah Phillips and Nicholas Parrish. She was prececded in death by a granddaughter, Kelly Jo Welch.
