Ms. Wyatt Bullard Sessoms, 94, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday evening, January 18, 2017 at Carolina Inn.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017, at 1 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Rev. Jerry Parsons presiding. The entombment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon to 1 pm at the funeral home.

Wyatt was born January 23, 1922, to the late William and Lela Bullard of Hope Mills. She worked primarily as a bookkeeper and also prepared tax returns.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Frank Sessoms; and her siblings, Edna Bullard Johnson, Leon Worth Bullard and William Durwood Bullard.

She is survived by her nephew, Bill Bullard and wife Ann of Southern Pines; niece, Linda Johnston and husband Bill of Ocean Isle; nephew, Frank Sessoms of Hampstead; niece, Carolyn Sessoms Hersey of Wrightsboro; niece, Willa Dean Bullard of Roseboro; niece, Clarise Jessup of Roseboro; and her first cousin, Emily Randall and husband Hoyt of Fayetteville.
