Yong Ae Gaston, 84, of Fayetteville, NC died on the morning of April 29, 2019 after a short illness.  At the time of her passing, Mrs. Gaston was surrounded by her daughters. She was born in South Korea on October 5, 1934.  Mrs. Gaston loved to garden, crochet and knit, and cook for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Gaston, SFC, US Army Retired. Survivors include two daughters, one son-in-law; Sun Yi Gaston, Deoborah S. Young and Scotty L Young; and two grandchildren, Adam Thomas Young and Stephanie Ann Young of Danville, VA. Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10 am at Jernigan-Warren Chapel.  Burial will follow at the Fort Bragg Post Cemetery on Fort Bragg, NC. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
