Zelda H. Philligin KINSTON — Mrs. Zelda Mae Hines Philligin, 86, of Kinston and formerly of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, in Kinston. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Philligin Sr.; a son, Jimmie Philligin; and a brother, Carl Hines. A private graveside service will be held in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gonzalez; son, Greg Philligin and wife Nancy; son, John Philligin and wife Wanda; son, Dennis Philligin and wife Karen; daughter, Angela Moore and her friend, Robert Jones; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Philligin, wife of Jimmie Philligin; brother, Dalma Hines and wife Shirley; brother, Durwood Hines; a sister, Mary Little; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five nieces; and 10 nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayettteville.
