Angela Starr Batton

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven…     Ecclesiastes 3:1

Angie Starr Batton was born August 13, 1987, and her season of change occurred on October 26, 2024.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:7-8 that we walk by faith and that to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord...and knowing our Angie is cradled in the arms of Jesus...whole and healed forevermore...brings great comfort to all who loved her.

To her parents... Angie Starr was the twinkle of life.

To her siblings... Angie was joy and a ray of sunshine.

To all that knew and loved her... Angie was THE example of perseverance.

Angie has left imprints on all our hearts in one way or another...that sweet smile, her love for Jesus and His church, her excitement when you came to visit, warm hugs and soft blankets will never be felt the same without thinking of her.  Our Angie is an angel that we now share with our Heavenly Father and by knowing Him we are assured of seeing her again.

Until that season comes...We Love You Angie

Angie is preceded in death by her father, June Ray Batton, Sr.

She is survived by her mother Debbie Batton Mercer; step  father, Buckie Mercer; sisters, Debbie Veltri (Matt), Kimberly Rogers (Frankie), Heather Campbell and Marie Trombley; brothers, Ray Batton Jr. (Susan), Michael Batton (Heather); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 10 to 11 am at Crystal Springs Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11 am.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park
