Ashley Ann Tew

Ashley Ann Tew, 32, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, while staying at her grandmother’s home.

Ashley was born on February 20, 1993, in Cumberland County where she grew up and graduated in 2011 from Jack Britt High School.

Ashley was a loving daughter, niece, cousin and friend to all who knew her. She was very affectionate and was known for giving hugs. She had a love for animals and will be missed by her fur babies, Nova and Chloe.  

Ashley enjoyed the outdoors, especially when she was spending time with her family at their beach house at Holden Beach.

Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Ronald McCray Tew; grandfather, John Albert Havemann; grandfather, Hulon Tew; great grandmother, Katie Bryson; great grandparents, Milton and Catherine Baxley; great grandparents, William and Genevieve Havemann.

She is survived by her parents, Kathy and Paul Bridgeman; stepsister, Lauren Cowan and husband Zach; stepbrother, Kevin Bridgeman; Memaw, Ann Havemann; special “Brother”, Jesse James; grandmother, Sylvia Lowery; aunts, Mary Young and Cynthia Hartmann; uncle, Christopher Roberts; cousin, Angela Young Smith and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend, Scotty Malone.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Monday, March 31, 2025, at 5 pm in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel.  Entombment will be at a later date.
