Betty Rose (Smith) Smith

Betty Rose Smith, 92, of Fuquay Varina, NC, and formerly of Fayetteville, NC, died Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Windsor Point Continuing Care, in Fuquay Varina.

Betty was born July 11, 1932, in Cumberland County, NC, to the late Frontis Hulon Smith and Nellie West.  She worked with Sears in the Finance Department.  Betty was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Smith; daughter, Susan Smith; and brothers, Ray Smith and Charles Hulon Smith.   

Betty is survived by her sister-in-law, Carolyn Marie Smith; nieces, Lisa Smith and Adrian Smith; and nephews, Charlie Smith and Chris Smith. 

A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.    

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland Presbyterian Church, 111 Highland Ave., Fayetteville, NC 28305.
