Obituary

Brandon Wesley Stevens, 24, of Hope Mills, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 1, 2021.

Brandon was born on March 14, 1997, in Cumberland County. He was a proud 3rd generation Airborne Paratrooper. He had an infectious smile, a love for the Lord, and he never met a stranger. 

Brandon spent time being outdoors where he enjoyed fishing. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 noon - 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lowell Stevens, Sr. and his uncle, Douglas C. Reed, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Adriane Fox and husband Ernest; father, Lowell Stevens, Jr. and wife Lauri; siblings, Cheyann Vega, Bryson Fox, Brooke Stevens and Wesley Stevens; maternal grandmother, Rita Youkers and husband Bill; maternal grandfather, Douglas Reed; paternal grandmother, Emiko Stevens; Maternal great grandmother, Gladys Reed and his girlfriend, Chelseigh Gaskins.
