Brenda Faye (McDonald) Holt

Ms. Brenda Faye McDonald Holt, 77, of Maryville, TN, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, 3 August 2024, in Maryville, TN. 

Brenda resided most of her life in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, NC. She was born with her twin sister Linda, in Fayetteville, NC on 21 January 1947, the last of ten children born to Mr. John Kelly McDonald and Ruth Faircloth McDonald. She was a 1966 graduate of Massey Hill High School and worked for the City of Fayetteville, Fayetteville Police Department (as dispatcher) and finally for BB&T Bank (now Truist) for over 20 years as Loan Officer, ultimately retiring in September of 2002.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin C. Holt.   She is survived by her twin sister, Linda and larger extended family.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 pm on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1 pm in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel.
