Brent K. Dumas, 72, of Spring Lake passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Brent was born on April 17,1952 in American Fork, Utah to the late Jay and Muriel Pace Dumas.
Brent always enjoyed traveling back to the Utah Mountains where he was born. His daughter shared that her dad was a Jack of all trades, he could build, landscape and had a special talent for cooking. He had a love for animals, especially his dog, Gracie.
He was a loving husband and father.
In addition to his parents Brent was preceded in death by his daughters, Barbara Jaylynn Dumas and Stephanie Mattucci; and son, Benjamin Dumas.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debbie Smith Dumas; children, Shannee Dumas, Eric Hansen, Mark Dumas, Amy Walker, Emily Inez, Jessica Dumas, Rachael Teeples, Jesse Teeples, Philip Teeples, and Michael Teeples; sisters, Debby Howard, Kristy Phal, Nancy Andersen; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Friday, February 7, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Scotty Hill Rd. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery on Gillespie St.
