Charles Randall Woodall, 87, of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at his residence with his family by his side.
Charles was born in Johnston County on April 3, 1934, to the late Seth Woodall and Addie Jackson Woodall. He retired from the U.S. Army.
The last of 9 children, he was preceded in death by his siblings and his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Palmer Woodall.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m prior to the service at the funeral home. A committal service will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 12 p.m. with full military honors. He is survived by his son, Randy Woodall and wife Becky; daughter, Cathy Woodall Potter; grandchildren, Paul Kellam, IV, Ashley Woodall Clark and husband Christopher, Abby Woodall; great grandchildren, Autumn Kellam, Anna Kellam, John Randall Kellam, and Remington Jeremiah Clark; and special sisters (in-law), Jeannette Pratt, Margie Bussell, Nellie Stevio, Mary Lou Mahallati and Frances Raynor.
