Clarissa Hickman Obituary

Clarissa Annabelle Blackburn Hickman, 48, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025.

Clarissa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She enjoyed time with her family, cooking, hosting gatherings, working in her garden, and listening to music. She was always there to help when needed, and she never met a stranger. Clarissa cherished all her family, especially her children, Drake, Sophie, and Raquel, who were the light of her life. Her background in the medical field allowed her to help others, where she treated all her patients with the dignity, care, and compassion they needed and deserved.

Clarissa loved the military and was especially proud of her Veteran husband, Greg. After leaving the medical field, Clarissa went on to work in the food industry, where she shined with her love for cooking and serving others. She would often serve the homeless every chance she got. Clarissa was nurturing and protective, with a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Greg Hickman; son, Drake Pine; daughters, Sophie and Raquel Reynolds; stepchildren, Michaela and Matthew Hickman; mother, Donna Tyson-Blackburn; father, James Blackburn; sister, Audrey Blackburn-Rogers (Fabian Rogers); brother, Dalton Blackburn; and grandmother, Margie Dew.
