David Neville Rhodes

David Neville Rhodes, 81, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022.

David was born November 21, 1940 in Waterlick, VA to the late Evelyn and Robert Rhodes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Rhodes and a son, David Rhodes.

David was a Retired Technical Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He loved fishing, playing cards especially poker, and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 12 Noon at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 6-8:00 PM.

He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Hunnicutt and husband Steve; Windy Reece, Stephanie Nelson and husband Mike; daughter-in-law, Evie Rhodes; grandchildren, Tyler Hunnicut and wife Kelly, Heather Dodd and husband Zach, David Reece, Christina Everett, and Bryanna Lewis; two great- grandchildren.
