Dawn Johnson

Dawn Louise Eaton Johnson, 67 of Fayetteville passed away at UNC Hospital on Friday, December 18, 2020.

Dawn was born on November 10, 1953 in Silver Spring, Maryland to the late Carl Eaton and Dorothy Jackson Eaton. She was a retired accountant from Fayetteville Technical Community College and a member of Cross Creek Presbyterian Church where she served in many capacities.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Cross Creek Presbyterian Church.  All attendees are encouraged to practice social distancing and wear a mask.  A live stream of the service can be viewed at https://youtu.be/xcw_339CrE

She was preceded in death by her son, Derric Pittillo.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis Johnson; children, Jeremy Pittillo, Michael Pittillo and wife Stephanie, Michelle Cooper, Ashley Wright and husband Adam, Autumn Matthews, Abby Wesley; sisters, Linda McComb and husband Dan, Sharon Post and husband Ed, Alicia Gould and husband Mark; grandchildren, Kristian Pittillo and children, Casandra, Kenneth, Kyle, Lexis Duvall and son, Malachi, Samantha Pittillo and daughter Arya, Katelin Pittillo and son Azrael, Alyssa Pittillo, Dylan Pittillo, Kyle Pittillo, Kyea Cooper, Aeowynne Cooper, Derric Wright, Connor Wright, Zachary Wright, Corey Wright, Heaven Matthews, Ada Matthews and Coby Wesley.
