Deborah J. (Wertz) Letarte

With the utmost dedicated devotion to her family and loyalty to all her friends, Deborah J. Letarte (Wertz) passed away on March 25, 2022, at MUSC Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina. She was born in Akron, Ohio in 1953 to George Wertz of Danville, Illinois and Beatrice James of Erie, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Minnesota and Ohio. She graduated from Copley High School in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from Dental Assistant School in Akron, Ohio. She pursued a long career as a Dental Assistant, for many years, employed in both Ohio and Michigan.  She was a lifetime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She will be remembered for her compassion and kindness to her family and all her friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Beatrice Wertz, and her son Lee, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Lee Letarte, and two daughters, Deborah and Jamie.

Millions through the Stars combined, never can they outshine the Moon, for she was truly one in a million. She will be greatly missed by her family.
