Debra (McLaurin) Davis

Debra McLaurin Davis, 68, of Eastover, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at UNC Hospital.

Debra was born December 22, 1955, in Cumberland County, to Jack and Maxine Jackson McLaurin.

She was the bookkeeper for Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  She was a strong Christian woman who loved yard sales, being in a crowd, or just sitting around the table drinking coffee and talking.  She was known for her wonderful homemade biscuits, and there was always a seat for everyone at her table and the door was always open.  Above all else, she loved her family!

She is preceded in death by her father, Jack McLaurin.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lloyd Davis; her mother, Maxine Jackson McLaurin; daughter, Erin Williams and husband, David; son, Clay Davis and fiancé, Bethany; grandchildren, Seth Williams, Noah House, Madison House, and Kayden Howell; brother, Gary McLaurin and wife, Melody; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 11 am in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel.
