Donald Lionel Melvin, 86, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at his residence with his family by his side.
Donald was born on November 15, 1934, in Cumberland County to the late Joseph Gray Melvin and Elizabeth Horne Melvin. He was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church and a past member of Culbreth Memorial United Methodist Church.

His Sunday job for many years was Sunday School Teacher and he filled that role with joy and happiness. Enjoying the Red Sox and Panthers was a favorite hobby for him.
