Donna Brock Byrd

Mrs. Donna Brock Byrd, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 1, 2024. She passed away peacefully at her home with her husband of 52 years by her side.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, most of all her grandchildren. She never met a stranger and loved sharing the Lord with anyone she met and knew. Her life’s purpose was to nurture and support those around her, a job she started as a young woman and continued throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Alton and Bessie White Brock, her brother Harold Brock, and her sister Carolyn Brock Hall.

Donna is survived by her husband, Charles Leon Byrd; daughter, Leonna B. Davis (Dax); son, Travis B. Byrd (Danielle); and 6 grandchildren, Mercy Byrd, Brock Davis, Henry Davis, Tyler McFayden, Nina McFayden, and Brooke McFayden and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews, whom she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 3 P.M. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
