Dorothy Margaret (Hatt) LaRock

Dorothy Margaret Hatt LaRock, 82, of White Oak, NC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at her residence with her husband by her side.

Dottie was born July 30, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, to Frederick C. and Alma R. Townsend Hatt.  She was a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in East Patchogue, NY.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold L. LaRock; daughters, Yvonne S. Trail (George) and Renee’ C. Brown; son, Harold L. LaRock, II (Natasha); and sister, Patricia Hatt.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11am in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel.  Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC at 12 pm.
