Edna Catherine (McLeod) Moore

Mrs. Edna Catherine McLeod Moore, 103, of Fayetteville, NC, died on Monday, January 29, 2024, at her residence.

Edna was born November 1, 1920, to the late Leonard Grady McLeod and Duncan Jeannette Brown McLeod.  She graduated from Massey Hill High School with a record of perfect attendance for eleven years.  Edna was Salutatorian and President for her class during her senior year.  She was a secretary for Holt-Williamson Manufacturing Company.  

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Worth Ottis Moore and siblings Betty Richardson, Leroy McLeod, Leonard McLeod, Lawrence McLeod, and Howard McLeod. 

Edna is survived by her daughter, Kim Moore; son, David Moore (and his wife Penny); three grandchildren, Madonna Henry (and husband Brett), Carly Moore, and William Moore (and wife Ansley); and two great-grandchildren, Leah Cate Henry and Haddox Hogan Henry.

A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at MacPherson Presbyterian Church, with a visitation in the fellowship hall following the service.
