Edna Clo Marshall Roston, 80, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Village Green Health & Rehabilitation Center. Edna was born December 6, 1943, in Blanchard, LA, to the late Eddie and Corine Marshall. She was a graduate of Walnut Hill High School in Shreveport, LA. She worked various jobs during her life such as a school cafeteria cook, a plant production line technician and was a professional dog groomer for over 20 years. Edna was family-oriented and as a single parent, she always placed the needs of her children first. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church choir for many years and always had a smile for the people she would meet and interact with. She relocated to North Carolina in July 2008. She enjoyed cooking, visiting family and friends, and watching old westerns. Her hobbies were sewing, baking and reading.
Edna is survived by her younger sister, Carrol Fuller (Mack), son Reginald Marshall (Gloria Pagan), daughter Patrice Marshall, and youngest child Yancy V. Roston Jr. (Mary); she also has four grandchildren, one great grandson, nephews, a niece and a host of cousins.
A viewing ceremony will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, 545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301 to reminisce and honor the life of Edna.
