Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Hall Player, 83, of Fayetteville, NC, died Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the McLeod Health Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC.
Elizabeth was born March 9, 1939, in Cumberland County, NC, to the late James Allen Hall and Mary Lucille McInnis. She was a homemaker.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 59 years, Henry C. Player Jr; daughter, Meredith Player Stiehl and husband the Honorable Robert J. Stiehl III; two grandchildren, Kenan Elizabeth Stiehl and Barrett Carlton Stiehl; brother, James Allen Hall Jr and wife Brenda and their children Jessica Curry and Jamie Hall; brother-in-law, Lonnie M. Player Sr and wife Kaye; nephew, Lonnie M. Player Jr and wife Dana; several out-of-town nieces and nephews; and six cousins, Ferrol Edmondson and wife Anita, Terry Edmondson and wife Kitty, Tom McInnis and wife Cathy, Dan McInnis, Don Perkins and wife Kellie, and Frank Perkins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
