Elizabeth Ashley (Deaton) Ricks

Elizabeth Ashley Deaton Ricks, 30, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. 

Elizabeth was born August 6, 1995, in Fayetteville, to George Preston Deaton, Jr. and Melissa Armstrong Patterson (Luke Patterson).

She worked for Easter Seals as a Peer Support Consultant. She was passionate about her job. She had a heart for serving the mental health community.  Her silly sense of humor will be missed by many.

She is predeceased by her great grandparents, J.P. and March Riddle and Edward and Beck Armstrong.

She is survived by her sons, Eli, Liam, Jaxon Ace, and Hudson; mother, Melissa Patterson; sister, Allison Deaton; brother, Dylan Patterson; uncles and aunts, Brian and Katherine Armstrong and Michael and Amy Armstrong; grandparents, George and Carolyn Armstrong, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 12 noon at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. Committal will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park at 1 pm.
