Elsie "Linda" Melinda Parisi

Elsie Melinda “Linda” Parisi , 84, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Linda was born on December 23, 1939 in Ruppert, West Virginia, to Russell and Viola Thompson. She was a devoted homemaker whose primary focus and greatest joy in life were centered around caring for her family. 

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Parisi; parents, Russell and Viola Thompson; and her brother, David Thompson. 

She is survived by her three children; son, Joseph Parisi and wife, Claudine; son, Henry Parisi; daughter, Tracie Mehan and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Jamie, Christina, Michael, Brianna, Amanda, Thomas, Krystal; and great-grandchild, Sophia. 

A funeral service for Linda will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church on Village Dr. in Fayetteville, NC at 10:00am officiated by Father Gregory Lowchy. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am. The burial will take place on Monday September 30, 2024, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Murchison Rd at 12:00pm.
