Ethel Joyce Tatem

Ethel Joyce Tatem, 93, of Hope Mills, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Joyce was born on January 19, 1928 in Wilkes County to the late Joseph Anderson and Bertha Joines Anderson. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Hillside Baptist Church with the Rev. Val Chadwick and the Rev. Chad Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 prior to the service at the church. She was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Rev. Art Tatem. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Estoria and Cora Lee Anderson.

She was the loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother of Pam Webster, Chuck Tatem and wife Crystal, Art Tatem; grandchildren, Amy Ingle and husband Chad, Katie Ubelhor and husband Zack, Chase Tatem, and Connor Tatem; great grandchildren, Mitchell, Colin, and Julia Ingle, Lily and Milo Ubelhor; sister, Louise Foster and many loving nieces and nephews.
