Eva (Bishop) Yarborough

Eva Bishop Yarborough has gone from an earthly angel to a heavenly angel on February 19, 2025, after a courageous fight with ALS. 

She was born July 18, 1952, in Fayetteville, NC to the late Elbert and Irene Bishop.

Eva was selfless, always putting others needs above her own, and her love for the Lord was known to all that knew her.

Her proudest and most important role was mother to Christy and grandmother to sweet Sebastian Jet Skoniecki.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Yarborough III; sister, Barbara Bishop Creed Powers; brother, Gerald Bishop; sister, Sue Bishop Sturcken; daughter, Christy Skoniecki; and granddaughter, Vivian Skoniecki.

Eva is survived by her brother, John Bishop; grandson, Sebastian Jet Skoniecki; nephews,nieces, and stepchildren.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 5-7 PM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, 545 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, NC 28301
