Gary D. Cser

Gary D. Cser, 69, of Fayetteville, was born on August 16, 1955, and passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2024. 

He was born in Torrington, Connecticut and grew up in Santa Ana, California. He served his country for 22 years in the U.S. Army and worked for Cumberland County Schools for 27 years. 

Gary is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Elsie, brother, Joseph, and sister Aleeta.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda; four children, Matthew, Helene, Shawn, and Jeremy; grandson, Emmett;  brother, Spencer and sister Rosalyn; Helene's husband, Mike and his daughter, Alyssa; Shawn's wife, Merri; and several nieces and nephews.   

Gary was extremely kind, patriotic, and hard-working with a genuine love for his family, friends, and cat Sammy.  He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Visitation: Thursday January 2, 2025 from 5 to 7pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home

Graveside: Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11am in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street with FULL Military Honors.
