Gerald M. Williams, 78, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Womack Army Medical Center.
Gerry was born on December 28, 1942, in Blount County Tennessee to the late Charles Arthur Williams and Grace Costner Williams.
He was retired from the U.S. Army after 23 and a half years of service as a Warrant Officer and parachute rigger. He was owner and operator of T & W Auto Sales. He was a member of Phoenix #8 and Clifford Duell #756 Masonic Lodges where he was Past Master of both lodges. He was a Shriner and a member of The Knights of Pythias.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at 12 p.m. with full military honors and Masonic rites. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Fountain; brothers, J.C. Lewis and Junior Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gerlinde Williams; daughter, Michele Partida; grandchildren, Lauren and Nicholas Partida; brother, Trenton Lewis and wife, Mary “Teenie” Lewis.
