James Xavier Kolb

James Xavier Kolb, 79, of Fayetteville formerly of Boardman, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

James was born on September 26, 1944, in Queens, New York to the late Howard Charles Kolb and Emily Price Kolb.

 He was the owner and operator of Best Alarm Company in Boardman, Ohio.  After retiring in 2010 he moved to Fayetteville to be with his family. James enjoyed playing darts and golf.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Kolb, Eddie Kolb and Johnny Kolb.

James is survived by his wife of 52 years, Darlene Burnett Kolb; daughters, Dr. Kim Brenneman and husband Brad, Machell Klemsche and husband Jens, Heather McGahagan and husband Brian; brother, Richard Kolb; sisters, Dottie Zink and Laurie Anderson; grandchildren, Lauren Brenneman, Robert Brenneman, Emma Klemsche, Connor McGahagan, Nathan McGahagan and Keegan McGahagan.
