Obituary
Joan Williford Lovick 91 of Eastover passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Joan was born on February 27, 1929 in Cumberland County to the late Arthur Augustus Williford and Kathryn (Katie) Jane Sessoms Williford. Born and raised in the Eastover Community Joan became a secretary in the Eastover School System before moving to Cliffdale Elementary School where she later retired. She was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 16. 2021 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Francis Daniel officiating. Friends and family may offer condolences from 10-10:45 a.m. in the Church Sanctuary. Due to COVID19 all attendees are encouraged to practice social distancing and wear a mask.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Grey Lovick and brother Milbon A. Williford.
Surviving are her son, Steven Lovick and wife Annette; grandsons, Stuart Grey Lovick and wife Paige and Will Cameron Lovick; great grandchildren, Chase Alexander Lovick and Madison Grey Lovick.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 3947 Dunn Rd. Eastover, N.C. 28312.
