John Paul Wilmoth

John Paul Wilmoth, 45, of Spring Lake, NC, died Thursday, September 12, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. 

John Paul was born August 26, 1979, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late “Toby” Shore and Judy Wilmoth.  He retired from the US Army. 

John Paul is survived by his wife, Robyn Wilmoth; son, Mitchell Wilmoth; and brothers, Alvin “Buddy” Wilmoth and wife, Lisa and David Wilmoth and wife, Glenda.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  After the visitation, the family will gather at the home of a friend, 3001 Hatcher Ln., Eastover, NC 28312.  A committal service will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to San Luis Valley Animal Center, 76 El Rio Dr., Alamosa, CO 81101.
