Joyce Kathryn (Sellers) Emerick

Joyce Kathryn Sellers Emerick, 73, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her residence with her family by her side.

Joyce was born on October 24, 1951, in Cumberland County to the late Norman Otis Sellers and Peggy Rose Sellers.

She attended Hillside Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Fayetteville Technical Community College Rose Garden, 2201 Hull Road, Fayetteville, N.C. 28303

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Tim “Bubba” Sellers.

She is survived by her sister, Edith Sellers; brother, Donald Sellers; many nieces and nephews; and her fur baby Precious, which she affectionately called to as Piggy Poodle Puppy Dog.
