Judy Grey Barrett

Judy Grey Barrett, 83, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at her residence.

Judy was born on September 1, 1941, in Cumberland County to the late Archie Harrison Barrett, Sr. and Nellie Page Barrett.

In her early years Judy’s sister got her a job with Crawford & Company Insurance, where she worked for 44 years before retiring.  She was a loving sister, Aunt, and friend to all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Friday March 7, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Charlotte Ann Barrett, Russell Page Barrett, Robert Donald Barrett, Helen Barrett Guy, Archie Harrison Barrett, Jr., Bennie Lou Barrett Stephens and Sammie Barrett Long.

Judy is survived by her brother, Vance Lendo Barrett and many nieces and nephews.
