Kathryn Marie Hix

Kathryn Marie Hix, 25, of Eastover passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021.  She was born on May 6, 1996 to Kenneth Hix and Diane McDaniel Hix.  Kathryn was a 2014 graduate of Terry Sanford High School.

Kathryn was a simple, yet elegant young lady.  She got along with everyone, made friends wherever she went, and at times was the life of the party.  She loved to read and spend time with family, especially her nephew whom she adored.

Kathryn will be remembered by many for her contagious smile that would light up the room and her kind heart.  While we are deeply saddened that our time on Earth with her has been cut short, we are grateful for her faith in Jesus Christ, and we know we will see her again one day.  Until then, we know she is rejoicing in heaven and watching over us as our beautiful guardian angel.  

Kathryn is survived by her parents, Ken and Diane Hix; her sister, Kimberly Hix; her nephew, Hagan Idol; her paternal grandmother, Elke Hix; her aunts and uncles, Debbie McDaniel Perry and husband, Brian Perry, Steve McDaniel, Jack McDaniel, Michael Hix and wife, Alana Hix, and Robin Hix; and her cousins, Kayne Hix, Spencer Hix, Tanner Hix, and Lisa Cooper.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.  Pastor Dale Wallace will be officiating.
