Kelly Braden Cain, 53, of Fayetteville, NC, entered eternal rest on the evening of Friday, July 26, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.
Kelly was born in Fayetteville, NC, on September 15, 1970, to the late Billy and Yvonne Lewis Cain.
In life, Kelly was known as a firecracker. A vivacious spirit that was full of life and energy. He was a poker enthusiast, a Top Chef in the kitchen, and king of one-liners- Kelly was truly a comedian. He never knew a stranger and had so many friends from different walks of life. Kelly was one of the funniest men you have ever met and with so much charisma- he knew how to make anyone laugh. Whether it was flipping houses, riding his Harley-Davidson, or soaking in his beloved hot tub, Kelly did it all with enthusiasm and a hunger to live life to the fullest.
For those who knew Kelly well, above all else, he loved his children. Kelly leaves behind 3 children- his eldest daughter, Elaina Henderson; his youngest daughter, Grayson Cain; and his only son, Eli Cain. He also leaves behind a wife, Jo Beth Cain; his sister, Denise Cain; his niece, Elizabeth Cain; and his brother, Michael Cain. Kelly also was able to experience the joy of becoming a grandfather to Tristan Henderson in his last few months of life.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 12 noon at Northwood Temple. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
