Amy Lois Howard Hall, 84, of Eastover passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her residence with her family by her side.
Lois was born on October 18, 1940, in Pender County to the late John William Howard and Amma Pecola Edens Howard.
She retired from the Cumberland County District Attorney's office after 20 years of service where she worked as support staff.
Lois enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. She loved spending time in the kitchen, where she was known for cooking and catering to her grandchildren.
Lois loved having outings and spending time with her work friends and she was an avid reader.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Salem Methodist Church Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Linwood Howard, JC Howard, Dorine Coffee and Eva Guyew.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Gilpin and husband Michael, Kimberly “Kim” Wooldridge; grandsons, Camryn Strickland and wife Alix and Quentin Strickland; great grandchildren, Andi, Walton and Jett Strickland; niece, Terri Turturro and husband Tom, Lee Norris and wife Nancy.
