Margaret (Lisanti) Calhoun

Margaret Lisanti Calhoun, 79, of Fayetteville, previously of Flushing NY, sadly departed on July 2, 2024.

Margaret was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church for over 50 years and retired as a Legal Secretary at McGeachy, Hudson & Zuravel Attorneys-at-Law with 28 years of service. She enjoyed sewing and embroidering and spending time with her family and friends. Margaret’s personality was of a kind and loving nature, she never knew a stranger and she left the world a better place.

Margaret is preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Bart Lisanti of Fayetteville, and her husband, MSGT (Ret) Robert Calhoun of Fayetteville.

Margaret is and will always be loved and missed by Dan (The Man) Johnson, her boyfriend; her daughters, Dana Faircloth and her husband, Duke, Jaime Haggerty and her boyfriend, Rudi; granddaughter, Jennifer Williams; great-granddaughters, Julia and Jiselle Williams; her grand dogs, Hershey Haggerty and Moonshine Maple Faircloth; and all her cherished friends. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 10:30 am at St. Ann Catholic Church with burial to follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
